Lorena joined Midtown as a pediatrician at our Children’s Clinic located in Washington Terrace, UT in November 2011. She is a NCCPA Certified Physician Assistant. She graduated from the University of Utah, Physician Assistant Program in 2011. She obtained her Bachelors in Science degree in Microbiology from Weber State University, from where she also studied English as a second language. Lorena studied medicine in Mexico from 1983 to 1990 and completed a residency program in radiology from 1991 to 1994. She came to live in the USA when she married in 1996. She has always felt attracted to pediatrics and her desire to practice medicine with children finally came true when she joined Midtown. “My call is to be with the little ones, especially with the underserved, younger patients”.
