Lizbeth brings a unique perspective to the Midtown family as a part-time mental health therapist at the Hope Clinic. She holds a Master's and Ph.D. in Social Work from the University of Utah. Her Bachelor's is in Criminal Justice and Sociology from Weber State University, where she is now an Assistant Professor, teaching the next generation of graduate social workers. In her previous roles, she worked in the areas of juvenile justice and K-12 education. She recently joined the Hope Clinic team to get back into the clinical world and serve a community that has not had a mental health therapist in a few years. She is passionate about working with marginalized communities and her practice focuses on empowering her clients and focusing on their strengths. She is happy to be able to provide therapeutic services in Spanish in an effort to minimize barriers for her clients. She loves to watch her daughter play wheelchair basketball at the collegiate level, is a dedicated plant momma and enjoys weight training.
